Calculate how much you save with SCR-PM2 compressors

Thanks to smooth speed control by frequency converter, direct 1:1 transmission without losses and other smart functions, screw compressors SCR-PM2 will help you save up to 50% of energy costs. Fill out our simple calculator and have the calculation of potential savings and return on investment in a modern compressor from SCR® sent to your email.

Positive numbers, rounded to 2 decimal places

Thanks to the smooth regulation of the speed by the frequency converter, you will significantly reduce the proportion of unnecessary idling.
The amount of savings depends on the air consumption profile and is typically in the range of 20 to 30 % for traditional fixed speed compressors.

Every 1 bar of pressure that the compressor has to produce additionally costs around 7 % of the energy consumed.
A normal fixed-speed compressor has a switching range of around 1.5 bar.
If you need to produce a pressure of 8 bar, the compressor must deliver 9.5 bar.
On the SCR-PM2 compressor, you can easily set only the pressure you need, and the compressor maintains it with a speed control system according to air consumption.

Important warning

The application and its result serve for an indicative comparison between fixed speeds screw compressor technologies and with speed control by a frequency converter.

The calculation procedure is simplified and does not take into account many factors in the real operation of compressors.

Achieving the resulting values is therefore not a legal obligation of our company.
